The long-awaited release from 2020 is almost here.

The. New. Year. I know you don’t want to hear any more about how challenging 2020 was or that other word… ‘unprecedented’. We’ve all had quite a time adjusting to a new way of life, new ways to shop, new ways t keep in touch. Everything has been new in 2020. Now we have a fresh clean start with 2021. No new surprises, 2021 should be easy to manage. We are all pros at this stuff now.

Plan.

Plan is not a 4-letter word! (ok it is but you know what I mean) A whole year breaks down into 4 easy plannable quarters. It’s not that I am trying to make it go fast. But if you plan 4 mini segments you will have one great year! I love anything new. So when Jan 1 rolls around and I get my new planner out I love how I can see all the pages for the entire year. But it is kind of intimidating. And it can make you feel like you have endless time. But actually, if you are in business or you have a specific goal it would serve you to make specific plans to achieve those goals. BY QUARTER.

I know, I talked about planning in the “boots” email but I’m serious about it. It doesn’t matter how many New Year Days you’ve greeted, it only matters what’s in front of you. This year 2021. Using all the things you’ve learned up to this point. In my case, that is a LOT of things. Before you pop the bubbly and welcome in the new year, set aside an afternoon and mark a piece of paper into 4. Then just put the stuff you want to see happen in the right quarter. Seems easy enough, right? Even this rudimentary plan can bring you closer to the welcomed result. My plan will include the TrueSelf Branding event…in April (there I said it) I hope by then we will have the ‘Rona figured out. A year later but hey we are still doing the thing!

Newish…still doing my Facebook live sessions, Too Many Choices Tuesday every Tuesday at 10 am (they are getting better all the time). You can get a free 30-minute overview of where you are on your brand, and what you could do next. DM or email me and we’ll set something up!
