Start thinking of yourself as a brand and you’ll be better prepared to sell or represent yourself like one. Don’t be afraid to be authentic. If your brand doesn’t reflect your authentic values, personality, and voice, you will look and feel exactly the same as everyone else conforming to industry norms. You, do you. Identify your core values and passions. Time for some self-reflection. You need to know exactly what you’re selling. What qualities do you value most in your work? Perseverance? Creativity?
